Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly proactive and experienced Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations for kitchens, wardrobes, and home/office furniture. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth production flow, quality control, timely deliveries, and efficient resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities:Production Planning & Execution

• Plan, schedule, and manage daily production activities for kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, and furniture units
• Ensure production targets are achieved within deadlines
• Coordinate with design and sales teams for project execution
• Monitor workflow and optimize production processes

Factory Operations Management

• Supervise workshop activities including cutting, assembling, polishing, and finishing
• Ensure proper utilization of machinery, tools, and manpower
• Maintain production records and reports

Technical Expertise

• Strong understanding of cutting lists (in mm), material optimization, and BOQs
• Expertise in wood materials such as MDF, HDF, plywood, laminates, veneer, etc.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and AutoCAD layouts

Quality Control

• Implement strict quality checks at each stage of production
• Ensure final products meet company and client standards
• Reduce wastage and rework through process improvements

Team Management

• Lead and manage carpenters, machine operators, and helpers
• Assign tasks and monitor team performance
• Train staff to improve efficiency and workmanship

Procurement & Inventory

• Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of raw materials
• Monitor stock levels and minimize shortages or excess inventory
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with site teams for installations
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of finished products
• Resolve production-related issues on urgent basis

Health & Safety Compliance

• Ensure safe working environment in the factory
• Enforce safety protocols and machinery handling procedures

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and proactive problem-solving skills
• Excellent knowledge of modular kitchen & wardrobe production
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Hands-on experience with cutting list preparation and execution
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Wood Technology, Furniture Design, or related field
• Experience in reputed kitchen & wardrobe / furniture manufacturing company
