Production Planning & Control Manager- (Lahore)

Job Description: PPC Manager

We are seeking an experienced PPC Manager to manage and control the end-to-end Production Planning & Control function within our textile manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for effective production scheduling, cross-functional coordination, WIP control, capacity optimization, and timely execution of customer orders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capability, data-driven planning skills, and the ability to manage multiple production priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans in line with order demands and machine capacities.
• Monitor Work in Process (WIP) across all production stages to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
• Coordinate closely with merchandising, production, quality, procurement, and maintenance teams.
• Track orders from raw material issuance through final dispatch to ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify production bottlenecks, delays, and capacity constraints, and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain accurate PPC records, including T&A plans, production reports, and order status updates.
• Analyze production performance data and recommend process and workflow improvements.
• Ensure timely availability of fabrics, trims, and accessories to support production schedules.
• Prepare and present performance reports covering output, lead times, and capacity utilization.
• Improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, guide, and train the PPC team to enhance planning accuracy and execution.
• Anticipate and manage risks such as machine breakdowns, material shortages, and priority changes.
• Monitor machine utilization and support cost-efficient production planning.
• Support lean manufacturing practices and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements:

5–6 years of relevant experience in Production Planning & Control within a textile or garment manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and workflow optimization.

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and production planning tools.

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle multiple orders, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop PPC teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs160,000.00 - Rs185,000.00 per month
