Project Control Manager

The Arabian Construction Company is seeking a highly experienced Cost Control Manager to anchor our strategic expansion across Africa. This is a senior, executive-level role for a meticulous leader with 15-20 years of experience in large-scale Construction Projects.


The Unique Opportunity: The 4 Weeks / 2 Weeks Rotation

This role requires commitment to a continuous hybrid schedule, offering both headquarters stability and critical field involvement:

  • 4 Weeks: Based in our Cairo, Egypt headquarters for strategic planning, reporting, and team management.
  • 2 Weeks: Rotational duty traveling to high-intensity African project sites for physical verification, auditing, and on-site cost control management.


Key Responsibilities (High Impact):

  • Executive Reporting: Lead the preparation of all financial reports, ensuring precise Estimate At Completion (EAC) forecasting and variance analysis.
  • EVM Mastery: Implement and manage robust Earned Value Management (EVM) systems to drive project financial performance (CPI/SPI).
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and model cost risks related to currency fluctuations, logistics, and supply chain volatility across remote sites.
  • Leadership: Mentor and lead a geographically diverse team of cost engineers and analysts.


What We Need:

  • Experience: 15-20 years in Project Controls/Cost Management for large construction/infrastructure projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Expert user of Project Controls software, including Oracle Primavera P6 (or equivalent), and familiarity with major ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical ability, high attention to detail, and superior communication skills required for executive-level presentations.
  • Mandatory: Willingness to fully commit to the 4-week/2-week international rotation.
