Project Coordinator – Finance (US Clients)

We are seeking a highly organized and communication-driven Project Coordinator – Finance to manage and coordinate financial tasks for our US-based clients. This role requires exceptional English communication skills and strong client relationship management abilities, along with hands-on coordination of bookkeeping and accounting activities.

The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between clients and internal accounting teams, ensuring clear communication, smooth project execution, and timely delivery of financial services.

Key Responsibilities

Client Communication & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for US clients regarding bookkeeping and accounting matters.
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with clients through meetings, emails, and calls.
  • Understand client requirements, clarify expectations, and ensure alignment with internal teams.
  • Schedule and attend client meetings, prepare agendas, take detailed notes, and track follow-ups.
  • Provide regular status updates and respond promptly to client inquiries.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships, ensuring high client satisfaction.
  • Proactively address concerns, escalate issues when needed, and ensure resolution.

Project Coordination & Execution

  • Coordinate finance-related projects to ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Develop structured project trackers and monitor milestones.
  • Work closely with bookkeeping and accounting teams to ensure smooth workflow execution.
  • Identify potential risks or delays and coordinate timely corrective actions.
  • Maintain organized documentation, dashboards, and reporting systems.
  • Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.

Bookkeeping & Accounting Oversight

  • Oversee routine bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Coordinate preparation of financial reports for internal review and client delivery.
  • Liaise with accountants to ensure compliance with US GAAP and relevant regulations.
  • Review financial data for accuracy and completeness before client submission.

Quality Assurance & Process Improvement

  • Review financial reports and documentation to maintain accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and service efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of new accounting or project management tools.

Qualifications & SkillsRequired

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (ACCA/CA preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or project coordination within the US market.
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to confidently interact with US-based clients.
  • Proven experience in client-facing finance roles.
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Tally, or similar).
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Must Have

  • Experience working directly with US clients.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and US-based accounting practices.
  • Prior experience using project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs170,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
