Project Engineer - BMS/ELV

What You Will Do

The Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering Building Management Systems (BMS) and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) Systems projects, including CCTV, Access Control, Active and Passive Structured Cabling, and related security/communication systems. Based in Kuwait, you will be part of a dynamic and expanding team responsible for end‑to‑end project execution, from design review to installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.

You will also support pre‑sales, estimation, and technical solutioning, contributing to the overall growth and success of the business.

How You Will Do It

As a Project Engineer, you will oversee all technical and execution aspects of BMS & ELV projects, including:

• Leading design review, installation supervision, and quality assurance for ELV systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling (Active & Passive), Intercom, and related subsystems.

• Managing configuration, integration, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and validation of BMS and ELV systems.

• Acting as the primary customer interface for project scheduling, engineering support, troubleshooting, and fault resolution, ensuring delivery with safety, integrity, and accountability.

• Prioritizing tasks and coordinating resources to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

• Liaising with customers, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors to manage installation activities for BMS and ELV systems.

• Performing BMS programming, testing & commissioning of MEP systems (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs) using DDC/unitary controllers.

• Managing third‑party integrations using protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, LonWorks, MSTP, IP, KNX, OPC.

• Configuring OT/IT networks relevant to ELV systems and developing BMS graphics and server configurations.

• Ensuring continuous improvement, collaboration, and a strong team‑oriented culture.

You will apply strong problem‑solving skills to maintain a proactive approach, ensuring profitable project delivery and building long‑term customer trust.

What We Look For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Instrumentation, Communication, or Electrical).

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Design, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of ELV systems — CCTV, Access Control, and Structured Cabling (Active & Passive).

• Proven experience delivering BMS & ELV installation projects in the GCC (Kuwait preferred).

• Strong understanding of ELV installation standards, cable routing, termination, and system integration.

• Experience with BMS programming and integration using Modbus, BACnet, LonWorks, MSTP, IP, KNX, OPC.

• Ability to manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications.

• Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently.

• Knowledge of local regulatory requirements.

• English proficiency; Arabic is a plus.

• Kuwait Society of Engineers accreditation, valid driving license, and transferable Article 18 visa.
