Project Manager Intern

About the Role:

We are looking for a Project Manager cum SQA Intern to support our software development and project delivery teams. The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn both project coordination and software testing processes. This internship offers hands-on experience in managing IT projects and ensuring software quality through structured testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management Responsibilities:

• Assist project managers in planning, tracking, and monitoring project activities.
• Coordinate between development, design, and QA teams to ensure timely task completion.
• Help prepare project documentation including project charters, progress reports, and timelines.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
• Maintain project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp).

Software Quality Assurance Responsibilities:

• Review requirements and create test cases and test plans.
• Execute manual testing to identify software bugs and performance issues.
• Log, track, and verify bugs using project management or bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure fixes meet quality standards.
• Contribute to automation testing where applicable (basic scripting knowledge is a plus).

Requirements:

• Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of QA processes and testing concepts.
• Familiarity with project management and QA tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, or TestRail).
• Good communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment.
