Job Overview
A reputable property development and real estate company in Karachi is looking to hire an experienced and performance-oriented Project Manager to lead multiple development projects from planning stage to final handover.
The ideal candidate will bring 8–12 years of experience in managing large residential or commercial projects, with strong capabilities in project planning, budgeting, execution, and stakeholder coordination. The role demands a professional who can deliver projects on time, control costs, and maintain high construction and design standards while aligning with the company’s long-term objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Manage the full project lifecycle — from concept design and approvals to completion and delivery.
- Define project scope, schedules, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers for seamless execution.
- Track on-site progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, quality benchmarks, and safety standards.
Budgeting & Cost Management
- Develop and manage project budgets, financial projections, and progress reports.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without affecting project quality or timelines.
- Ensure all expenditures remain within approved financial limits.
Quality & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct routine quality inspections and audits to maintain construction excellence.
- Review and approve drawings, materials, and contractor submissions.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and authorities for approvals and smooth project flow.
- Present regular progress updates and performance reports to senior management and investors.
- Address site challenges promptly to avoid delays or cost overruns.
Team Leadership & Reporting
- Lead and mentor project engineers, site supervisors, and technical staff.
- Set performance targets, monitor progress, and ensure accountability at every project stage.
- Prepare comprehensive reports covering milestones, risks, and overall performance metrics.
Candidate ProfileEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or PMP certification will be considered an advantage.
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in property development or construction project management.
- Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects in Pakistan.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in construction planning, cost estimation, and scheduling tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
- Good understanding of local building regulations, safety standards, and compliance procedures.
Soft Skills
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform effectively under pressure.
