Job Title Project Technical Coordinator

Role Purpose :
The Technical Coordinator supports the project’s technical delivery by coordinating across all engineering disciplines to ensure timely preparation, review, and submission of shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents. The role ensures smooth communication between teams, alignment with project requirements, and compliance with quality standards under the guidance of the Technical/Engineering Manager.

Design Development

Coordinate the integration of design information among disciplines.

Review shop drawings and submittals for alignment with design intent.

Identify discrepancies and propose solutions to technical conflicts.

Ensure the integrity of the shop drawings produced by technical disciplines.
Project Management

Support tracking and monitoring the schedule for engineering deliverables.

Support the Technical/Engineering Manager in reporting progress.

Ensure timely submission and approval of shop drawings and materials.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate project execution and resolve design challenges.
Compliance and Quality Assurance

Verify submissions comply with project specifications and codes.

Implement document control standards and QA procedures.

Support audits and reviews to maintain technical accuracy.
Stakeholder Engagement

Facilitate communication between consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

Coordinate responses to technical queries (RFIs).
-
Support client/consultant meetings with accurate technical updates.
Research and Innovation

Stay updated on materials, methods, and engineering practices.
-
Propose alternative solutions for cost or time efficiency.

Contribute to lessons-learned and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Necessary Knowledge and Experience

Minimum of 10 -12 years of experience in engineering work.

Good knowledge of all engineering disciplines.

Good Knowledge of English Language, writing and speaking.
Education and Certification Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of Engineering branches, preferred Arch or civil.

Fundamental engineering license (FE) is preferred.
Job Specific and Technical Skills

Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM). · Strong understanding of building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical) and integration.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
