Public Relation Officer (PRO)

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

responsible for managing all government relations and licensing activities related to the healthcare facility, ensuring full compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Ministry of Health (MOH), Dubai Municipality, and Immigration and Labor regulations. The PRO serves as the liaison between the organization and government entities to process and follow up on all legal documentation, licensing renewals, and employee visa requirements efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Government Relations & Licensing Handle all DHA, MOH, and DECAS licensing processes for doctors, nurses, and healthcare facilities.

Process new trade licenses, renewals, and amendments for the company.

Submit and follow up on visa applications, work permits, Emirates ID, and residency renewals through GDRFA, MOHRE, and DHA portals.

Ensure timely renewal of all professional licenses, facility permits, and company-related documents.

Coordinate with TASHEEL, AMER, and Emirates ID centers for employee documentation.

Manage medical test appointments and insurance card applications for new employees.

Maintain an up-to-date record of all license and visa expiry dates to ensure renewals are completed before deadlines.

Liaise with Civil Defense, Municipality, and Health Authority inspectors during audits and inspections.

Healthcare Administration Support Coordinate DHA portal registrations and maintain records of healthcare staff credentials.

Assist HR and the Medical Director in staff onboarding and clearance processes.

Support the quality department during audits and compliance inspections.

Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational records at all times.

Public Relations & Communication Represent the company in official matters with government departments.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key officials, external agencies, and partners.

Support company events, campaigns, and community outreach initiatives when required.

Ensure all government communications reflect the company’s professionalism and compliance.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a PRO, preferably within the healthcare sector in Dubai.

In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws, visa regulations, and DHA/MOH licensing procedures.

Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).

Strong relationships with officials at DHA, MOHRE, GDRFA, Tasheel, and Municipality offices.
