Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end procurement of raw materials, engineering components, consumables, and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors and suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure best pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
• Process purchase orders (POs), quotations, and vendor agreements in line with company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels, ensure timely replenishment, and coordinate with stores and production teams.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier databases, and MIS reports.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Production, Accounts, Quality, R&D) for seamless operations.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Supply Chain, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in manufacturing/automobile/engineering industries.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and cost negotiation.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and purchase documentation.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to automobile or EV component procurement.
• Knowledge of import/export processes and logistics.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
