To support our operations, we are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to oversee procurement and supply chain activities across our outlets.

Role Purpose

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for ensuring the availability of high-quality ingredients, kitchen supplies, maintenance, and equipment at cost-effective rates. This role requires strong vendor management, negotiation skills, and the ability to align purchasing strategies with the needs of the F&B business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to support restaurant operations.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers for food, beverages, packaging, marketing, and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain par stock levels to ensure uninterrupted restaurant operations.
  • Work closely with chefs, operations, and other team to maintain product specifications and quality standards.
  • Review and approve purchase orders while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with storekeepers for proper receiving and storage.
  • Conduct regular vendor evaluations and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain updated purchasing records, invoices, and prepare cost analysis reports.
  • Attend F&B trade shows and exhibitions to explore new suppliers and industry trends.
  • Experienced in overseas purchases.
  • Train and guide storekeepers on receiving, storage, and stock control procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience in the Food and Beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of F&B supply chain, food safety standards, and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within deadlines.
