Job Title- Sr. Purchase Manager

Designation : Sr. Purchase Manager

Educational Qualification:- Graduate/ BBA/ MBA

Preferred Qualification: Master’s degree (optional but advantageous): MBA in Finance, Marketing, or Operations.

Proficiency:- Basic Digital Literacy – using computers, smartphones, email, internet, and productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Should be able to learn and apply new technologies quickly as they evolve.

:- Experience in procurement and vendor management within the Electronics, Electrical, and Civil fields, with a strong understanding of industry-specific materials, equipment, and technical requirements.

Experience Requirement 4-5 Year

Job Description:

To manage the company’s procurement activities, ensure timely availability of quality materials at competitive prices, maintain vendor relationships, and optimize costs while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best terms.
  • Maintain approved vendor data base and ensure supplier performance tracking.
  • Oversee purchase orders, contracts, and agreements.
  • Ensure timely procurement to meet production and operational needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels in coordination with the stores/warehouse.
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Maintain compliance with legal and quality standards.
  • Liaise with accounts for vendor payments and reconciliation.
  • Prepare procurement reports for management review.

  • Procurement Planning & Execution
  • Timely creation of purchase plans and execution in line with production schedules.
  • Vendor Development
  • Identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers (vendors) to ensure they can meet a company’s quality, cost, delivery, and innovation requirements.
  • Must stay updated on emerging technologies and market trends, and proactively keep vendors informed and aligned with the latest advancements.

3. Vendor Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, meets quality & delivery standards
  • Cost Optimization
  • Achieve target cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Inventory Control
  • Avoid stock-outs or excess inventory through efficient purchasing.

5. Liaisoning with Finance Department

○ Liaise with accounts for vendor payments and reconciliation.

6. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies, contracts, and legal requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
