Job Title: Purchase Manager

Location: Zeel – Manufacturing Unit
Industry: Garments / Textile Manufacturing

Job Summary:

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for Zeel’s garment manufacturing operations. The role involves sourcing fabrics, trims, accessories, packing materials, and other production-related items while ensuring cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely delivery to support uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:1. Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Source and procure fabrics, trims, accessories, packaging materials, and consumables.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Identify new vendors and conduct vendor evaluation & audits.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

2. Cost Control & Budget Management

  • Ensure cost-effective purchasing aligned with company budget.
  • Conduct price comparison and market analysis.
  • Achieve annual cost reduction targets through negotiation and strategic sourcing.

3. Inventory & Planning Coordination

  • Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, and Stores teams for material planning.
  • Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
  • Monitor stock levels and prevent excess inventory.

4. Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure purchased materials meet required quality standards.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC team for approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain procurement records.
  • Track GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and vendor invoices.
  • Submit MIS reports related to procurement, cost savings, and vendor performance.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Commerce / Textile / Business Administration.
  • 5–10 years of experience in garment or textile manufacturing purchase.
  • Strong knowledge of fabric sourcing, trims, and garment accessories.
  • Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems & MS Excel.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
