Overview
As a Purchasing Clerk, you will play a crucial role in our procurement team, ensuring that our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to manage purchasing activities, maintain inventory levels, and support supplier relationships. You will utilize your expertise in various ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to streamline processes and enhance procurement management. What you’ll do

• Manage purchasing orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms that benefit the organization.
• Monitor inventory levels using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) techniques to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
• Conduct sourcing activities to identify potential vendors and assess their capabilities.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.
• Support logistics operations by coordinating with suppliers and internal teams for efficient delivery schedules.
• Assist in the development of procurement strategies that align with supply chain management goals.
• Analyze market trends to inform purchasing decisions and optimize costs.

Basic qualifications

• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS.
• Strong understanding of procurement management principles and practices.
