Purchaser

We are looking for a Purchaser with a mechanical engineering background to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in procurement of steel, consumables, tools, and equipment, with the ability to handle both local and overseas sourcing.

Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of approximately 2,500 tons/month of materials and consumables.
• Source and negotiate with local and international vendors for steel, consumables, tools, equipment, and logistics/services.
• Ensure timely issuance of RFQs and conversion to purchase orders (RFQ → PO cycle).
• Maintain cost control, vendor quality, and on-time-in-full (OTIF) delivery compliance.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure QA/QC and ERP process compliance.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within the steel or manufacturing industry.
• Strong vendor network and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
