Purchasing Assistant

Company Information:AAEON Electronics, Inc., a global, high-tech Company focusing on embedded, industrial Motherboards, Systems and Computing Platforms, has an immediate opening for a Purchaser in Orange, CA.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Manage and coordinate activities during the purchasing process, create purchase orders based on an approved AEI SO/MRF, authorize purchase orders to be sent to vendors, monitor tracking reconciliation, and follow- through.
  • Create, update, process work order (WO) for RW-PN. It must base on approved Sales Order (SO) and Bill of Material (BOM).
  • Create/Assign/Edit Part number (P/N) and part description in Oracle system.
  • Update new cost in the system and inform accounting dept. to update the new cost in Cost module and if necessary, inform accounting dept. if RW- PN requires to roll up the cost again.
  • Verify accuracy of purchase orders. Keep accurate and organized records for accounting.
  • Resolve all discrepancies and make corrections and adjustments in a timely manner.
  • Communicate to the team on items purchased.
  • Managing purchase orders, overseeing shipping schedules and maintaining purchase records.
  • Work with warehouse team, fulfillment agent, inside sales, PSM to ensure needed item to be ordered, delivered in a timely manner.
  • Set up new supplier in the system.
  • Work with freight forwarder/shipping carriers on tracking incoming shipments.
  • Search and Provide HTS code for the imported item as required.
  • Obtain freight quotes per requests.
  • Maintaining cordial working relationship with vendors.
  • Send RFQ, Sourcing components as required.
  • Review and list the purpose, requestor for company credit card monthly expense via BPM.
  • Review and approve invoice from freight forwarder/shipping carriers.
  • Keep records of MRF, copy of invoices.
  • Be as a back up for each other in the purchasing dept. during time off.
  • Task assigned by manager.
  • Act as a Backup to Operation Assistance during absence.
  • Create and maintain SO/Debit memo/Re-bill for RMA items. Take order from supervisor at RMA dept.
  • Order office supply per request by director.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,080.00 - $58,240.00 per year
