Purchasing Officer

SV Companies is looking for an ambitious Purchasing Officer who can work well in a team environment and has a strong passion for their work. The ideal candidate enjoys challenges, consistently meets targets, and has clear career goals, with the potential to grow long-term within our company.

You will report directly to the Regional Purchasing Manager. Your key responsibilities include monitoring stock levels across all boutiques and facilitating stock transfers between warehouses. You will collaborate closely with the Sales Department to ensure correct assortments are reflected in the web order for each boutique. You will also control of ageing/dead stocks, slow-moving, and expired products, and maintain purchasing documents, files, and records to ensure accuracy, policy compliance, and adherence to regulatory guidelines. Additionally, you will respond to purchasing related inquiries by providing accurate information and guidance, and perform other related duties as required.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

You should possess the minimum criteria listed below:

· Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or any related field.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Well-versed in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

· With previous exposure to inventory management software or any ERP systems.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal departments.

· Previous experience in purchasing, inventory management and supply chain may be advantageous.

· Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
