Purchasing Specialist

General Qualifications

• Graduated from relevant departments of universities
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement processes within the automotive or motorcycle industry, preferably in production-oriented companies
• Knowledgeable in supplier research, quotation requests, price analysis, and contract processes
• Experience with procurement systems such as ERP/SAP
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Advanced English skills (both written and spoken)
• Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented, result-driven, and well-organized with effective time management skills
• Basic knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control
• No travel restrictions; holds a valid driver’s license (Category B is preferred)

Job Description

• Fulfill material requirements of the motorcycle production facility
• Carry out supplier research, evaluation, and selection processes
• Collect quotations, perform price analysis, and make comparisons
• Create and track purchase orders via the ERP system and ensure on-time deliveries
• Prepare and follow up on purchase orders
• Manage supplier relationships and evaluate their performance
• Support cost improvement and optimization projects
• Work in coordination with production, quality, logistics, and engineering teams to meet requirements accurately and promptly
• Planning the material procurement process by monitoring stock levels
• Meet internal customer demands and manage order processes
• Procurement of chemicals required for production
• Follow procurement trends and innovations in the industry
