The QC/QA Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control and quality assurance within construction projects. This role ensures that all materials, workmanship, and processes comply with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. The QC/QA Manager will develop and implement quality management systems, conduct inspections, manage audits, and work closely with project teams to achieve the highest level of quality in project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for all projects.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and regulatory quality requirements.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and method statements to identify quality requirements.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and audits of construction activities and materials.
• Lead a team of QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors, providing guidance and support.
• Maintain quality documentation including inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and corrective action plans.
• Monitor subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and project managers on quality issues.
• Organize and conduct quality training for site teams.
• Prepare quality reports for management review and recommend improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance construction quality performance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8–12 years of QA/QC experience in the construction industry, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and other quality management systems.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and codes.
• Experience with audits, inspections, and testing procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant QA/QC software tools.
• Certification in Quality Management (ISO Lead Auditor or equivalent) is an advantage.
