QS Engineer

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (QS Engineer)

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and finalize BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for construction projects
• Handle RA bills, final bills, and certification for contractors and subcontractors
• Monitor project budgets, cost variations, and cash flow
• Prepare rate analysis for new, extra, and deviated items
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and planning teams for measurement verification
• Manage contract administration, including variations, claims, and reconciliations
• Ensure billing as per approved drawings, specifications, and contract terms
• Assist in tendering, budgeting, and vendor negotiations
• Prepare MIS reports related to cost control and billing status
• Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives
• Maintain accurate records of measurements, bills, and project documentation

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, and specifications
• Hands-on experience in billing, estimation, and cost control
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS tools
• Knowledge of IS Codes, contracts, and construction practices
• Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects
• Site and billing exposure in mid to large-scale construction projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
