Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor the project budget and forecast costs throughout the construction lifecycle to prevent overruns.
Variation & Claims Management: Identify, price, and negotiate contract variations, change orders, and subcontractor claims.
Subcontractor Management: Evaluate and verify subcontractor invoices, issue payment applications, and ensure alignment with procurement schedules.
Value Engineering: Analyze designs and propose cost-saving alternatives without compromising quality or compliance
QUALIFICATION:-
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or Quantity Surveying.
Experience: Typically requires 3 to 10+ years of combined experience in MEP estimating, tendering, and cost management.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction methods, and local authority regulations.
Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of cost management tools like MS Excel, CostX, Candy, or Bluebeam.
