Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The Quantity Surveyor will play a pivotal role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. This includes cost planning, tendering, valuations, risk management, and contract administration to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare accurate cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and tender documentation.

· Conduct feasibility studies to assess material, time, and labor requirements.

· Monitor and control project expenditures throughout all stages of construction.

· Administer contracts, variations, and claims, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

· Perform on-site measurements, valuations, and cost verification.

· Prepare interim and final payment certificates for contractors and subcontractors.

· Provide cost and value engineering advice to design and project teams.

· Maintain comprehensive records, reports, and contractual documentation.

· Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.

· Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and company standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

· Minimum [X] years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.

· Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost control methods (FIDIC knowledge is preferred).

· Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar).

· Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels.

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
