Quantity Surveyor

JOB OVERVIEW :

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our HVAC contracting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to start their career in the construction industry and gain hands-on experience in quantity surveying within mechanical (HVAC) systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

* Help track project costs and monitor budget compliance.

* Assist in evaluating and comparing supplier and subcontractor quotations.

* Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and procurement for material quantity confirmations.

* Assist in preparing interim payment applications and final accounts under supervision.

* Maintain proper documentation and records of measurements and variations.

* Learn and apply relevant standards and methods for HVAC cost control and estimation.

REQUIREMENTS :

* Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

* Strong interest in the HVAC industry and willingness to learn.

* Basic understanding of construction drawings and estimation principles.

* Familiar with MS Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD or any QS software is a plus.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

* Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations.

PREFERRED QUALITIES :

* Internship or academic project experience in MEP/HVAC projects is an advantage.

* Eagerness to grow professionally and work in a fast-paced contracting environment.
