Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all cost-related aspects of our construction projects. The QS will be responsible for preparing estimates, monitoring costs, managing contracts, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate contracts.
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost control reports.
• Assess variations, claims, and prepare interim/final payments.
• Provide accurate cost forecasting and cash flow projections.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure financial control.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
• Prepare monthly progress valuations and final accounts.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction (buildings/infrastructure).
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
