Quantity Surveyor

We are Quality Home General Contracting and Maintenance, a leading construction firm specializing in villa construction based in Abu Dhabi. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. Candidates with proficiency in Arabic will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects based on project plans and specifications.
• Cost Control: Monitor project costs and manage financial aspects throughout the project lifecycle to avoid overruns and manage cash flow.
• Tendering: Prepare and issue tenders, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts, including variation orders and claims.
• Financial Reporting: Provide regular financial reports and updates to stakeholders, including cost forecasts and variance analysis.
• Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies through value engineering and cost control measures.
• Dispute Resolution: Assist in resolving disputes and claims related to project costs and contractual issues.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum one year experience in UAE.

Preferring candidates have Arabic Knowledge.
