Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor – Civil in Ras Laffan. The role involves managing cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and contract administration for civil works. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring cost control and project efficiency throughout the lifecycle.

Mandatory Requirements & Qualification:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BE/B.Tech)
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in building/construction projects
• Technical Skills:
• BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs
• Cost estimation and cost control
• Contract management and billing
• Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software
• : Experience in handling variations, claims, and contractor billing
• Strong communication skills in English

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for civil works
• Monitor project costs and ensure budget control
• Evaluate contractor bills, variations, and claims
• Conduct site measurements and verify executed quantities
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and planning teams
• Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance
• Prepare cost reports, project progress updates, and forecasts
