About the Role
GSOQ is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Quantity Surveyor with mandatory Oil & Gas EPC project experience. The ideal candidate will manage project costs, contractual obligations, and commercial deliverables related to civil and structural works throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQs, cost breakdowns, and civil/structural tender documents.
• Perform quantity take-offs based on IFC drawings, civil layouts, structural details, and specifications.
• Administer contracts in accordance with EPC and FIDIC standards, including variations and claims.
• Monitor and control project costs by comparing actual vs. budgeted values.
• Review subcontractor quotations for technical and commercial accuracy.
• Support tendering teams with cost analysis and commercial documentation.
• Assess cost impacts of design changes, scope revisions, and additional civil works.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and construction teams for accurate cost reporting.
• Prepare final accounts and assist with project close-out activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 years of QS experience in Oil & Gas EPC civil/structural projects – mandatory.
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and cost control tools.
• Strong understanding of civil/structural BOQs, cost estimation, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with EPC contracts and FIDIC conditions is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Mandatory Requirements

• Oil & Gas project experience is mandatory.
• Currently based in Qatar.
• Valid NOC and transferable visa.
• Ready to join immediately.
