Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting detailed quantity measurements and preparation of BOQs for Civil and MEP works.
- Support the preparation of cost estimates, project budgets, and tender documentation.
- Review and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and compliance.
- Track site progress, material consumption, and assist in preparing cost tracking reports.
- Contribute to the preparation of interim valuations, payment certificates, and final account closures.
- Ensure that all work complies with project drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Maintain organized records of contracts, variations, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with senior QS, planning, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 2- 3 years of professional experience (preferably within the GCC).
- Exposure to Civil and MEP cost management practices is desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD; knowledge of software such as CostX, Plan swift, or Bluebeam is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under supervision and meet project deadlines.
