Exciting Opportunity: Join Ali & Sons as a Service Receptionist

Join the Ali & Sons Group as a Service Receptionist, where you’ll play a key role in enhancing customer experience at the service centre and over the phone, while supporting smooth after-sales operations through efficient appointment coordination and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and visitors upon arrival and guide them professionally at the reception area.
  • Offer refreshments and ensure customers are comfortable while waiting.
  • Advise customers of estimated waiting times and service duration.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard to connect, transfer, hold, and disconnect calls efficiently.
  • Answer incoming calls, provide accurate information, or route calls to the appropriate department.
  • Arrange service appointments and conduct reminder calls.
  • Follow up on customer complaints and assist in preparing customer feedback reports.
  • Identify the nature of inquiries and provide general assistance where applicable.
  • Redirect calls or place callers in a queue when required.
  • Provide external call connections for staff and respond to internal switchboard queries.
  • Perform receptionist and basic secretarial duties during quieter periods, including data entry and photocopying.
  • Ensure timely and proper distribution of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

Role Purpose:

To enhance customer experience during service centre visits and phone interactions by managing appointments, handling calls efficiently, and providing administrative and back-office support to the service team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar receptionist or customer service role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Computer literate with basic office system knowledge.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Proficient in handling telephone systems and computer applications.
  • Certification: Relevant certification or training is an advantage.
