Small personal office looking for reliable person to join. Deal directly with the owner open and close a must.
Duties
- Manage multi-line phone systems
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, mail, and packages using Microsoft Office tools
- Maintain organized filing systems, perform data entry, and proofread documents to ensure accuracy and clarity
- Support calendar management and appointment scheduling
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Provide general clerical support such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and updating office supplies inventory
- Coordinate office management activities to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
- Perform personal assistant duties as needed, including travel arrangements or special project support
Experience
- Proven office experience or clerical experience in a professional setting is required
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
- Experience managing multi-line phone systems and demonstrating proper phone etiquette
- Familiarity with QuickBooks
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Personal assistant experience or office management background will be considered an asset
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
