Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Overview
Small personal office looking for reliable person to join. Deal directly with the owner open and close a must.

Duties

  • Manage multi-line phone systems
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, mail, and packages using Microsoft Office tools
  • Maintain organized filing systems, perform data entry, and proofread documents to ensure accuracy and clarity
  • Support calendar management and appointment scheduling
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
  • Provide general clerical support such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and updating office supplies inventory
  • Coordinate office management activities to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
  • Perform personal assistant duties as needed, including travel arrangements or special project support

Experience

  • Proven office experience or clerical experience in a professional setting is required
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
  • Experience managing multi-line phone systems and demonstrating proper phone etiquette
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Personal assistant experience or office management background will be considered an asset

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
