We are a growing retail organization operating multiple bookshops, focused on building strong teams and delivering excellent customer experiences. As we expand, we are looking for a proactive and organized Recruitment Officer to lead our hiring efforts.

Role Overview

The Recruitment Officer will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle — from sourcing and screening candidates to onboarding new hires — ensuring we attract and retain high-quality talent across our stores and head office.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment process (job postings, screening, interviews, offers)
• Develop and update job descriptions
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, and referrals
• Conduct initial interviews and shortlist candidates
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers
• Maintain recruitment databases and applicant tracking systems
• Support onboarding and documentation for new employees
• Build talent pipelines for future hiring needs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
• 2+ years of recruitment or HR experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess candidates effectively
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple roles simultaneously
• Proficiency in MS Office and online recruitment platforms
