Summary

The Registrar will be part of a dynamic school administrative team. The position is primarily responsible for student records, transcripts and data, as well as maintaining a close working relationship with the District Admissions Office, District Finance Office, Government Relations Office and parent body.

Position Duties

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection).
  • Maintain knowledge of school programs and operations.
  • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of ISG district organization policies, practices and procedures.
  • Maintain and update accurate student records in the student information system including student demographics, grades, and attendance.
  • Manage school withdrawal process.
  • Complete withdrawing and graduating students’ transcripts and records.
  • Coordinate with Government Relations Office to certify student records.
  • Process emails, correspondence, phone inquiries.
  • Respond to families' inquiries via admissions platform, email and phone.
  • Communicate IT account information to new and returning families.
  • Communicate school-specific enrollment information to families.
  • Assist with student scheduling in the student information system.
  • Assist District Admissions Office with credit checks and enrollment information.
  • Assist with student events including open houses, orientations, and graduation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the principal and Admissions and Enrollment Manager

Qualifications and Knowledge

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.

Experience and Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience

  • Experience as a school registrar.
  • Prior data entry experience.
  • Experience with G-Suite/Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with enrollment/admissions software.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, both verbal and written Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills in interacting with students, parents and colleagues.
  • Efficient typing and data-capturing abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during workplace disruptions and conflicts.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
