Repair & Maintenance Officer (Coffee Shops & Logisics)

Doha, Qatar

The Repair & Maintenance/ Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance and logistical operations across the company’s specialty coffee shops and restaurant chains. This includes managing fit-out issues, HVAC (AC) systems, kitchen equipment maintenance, vehicle upkeep, and coordinating the timely delivery of ingredients from the central warehouse to all branches. The role ensures operational continuity, safety, and efficiency across all locations.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Facilities Management, or related field

Experience

Minimum 5–7 years in maintenance and logistics management, preferably in F&B or hospitality sectors

Technical Skills

HVAC systems, kitchen equipment diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, inventory coordination

Software Proficiency

Maintenance tracking systems, fleet management tools, delivery scheduling platforms

Other Requirements

Strong leadership, multitasking, vendor negotiation, and emergency response planning

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Management

  • Oversee all maintenance tasks across coffee shops and restaurants
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to fit-outs, AC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Maintain and service kitchen and café equipment (e.g., espresso machines, ovens, refrigerators)
  • Schedule and supervise preventive maintenance routines
  • Coordinate with external contractors and technicians for specialized repairs
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and building regulations

Logistics & Delivery Oversight

  • Plan and manage daily delivery schedules of ingredients from warehouse to branches
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
  • Coordinate with warehouse and branch managers to optimize delivery routes and timing
  • Ensure delivery vehicles are properly maintained and roadworthy
  • Track delivery performance and resolve logistical bottlenecks

Vehicle Maintenance

  • Oversee servicing, repairs, and inspections of company-owned delivery vehicles
  • Maintain records of vehicle maintenance, insurance, and registration
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns
  • Ensure compliance with transportation safety standards
