Stantec is looking to hire a Resident Engineer with experience in water Drainage and Storm water Networks in Dubai.

The selected candidate shall have a Civil Engineering Degree and 20 years of extensive experience working Drainage and Storm water Network projects.

Qualifications:

• The Resident Engineer must have full and complete knowledge of the existing infrastructure in the Emirates of Dubai
• The Resident Engineer must have a relevant degree from a recognized university and must have thoughtful knowledge and work experience of not less than 15 years in infrastructure works.
• He must be able to take on the spot decisions and be able to deal with all Service Authorities.
• The candidate must have a thoughtful knowledge and experience in dealing with pipelines, Cables, Sewers, Manholes, VC, WO, AV, connection Chambers and Pumping Station works, non-disruptive road crossings.
• The candidate must have also through knowledge and experience in the design of infrastructure works.
• Familiar with the DM General Conditions of Contract, Quality Assurance, Quantity Surveying and Project Network Techniques (Primavera)
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Primavera.
• Confident in his own ability to control the Works.
• Excellent written and communication skills (English), time management, and supervisory skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare instructions, specifications, and reports and cost estimates.
• Capacity to make decision.
• Ability to liaise with DM and other infrastructure Authorities
