A Restaurant General Manager is responsible for managing restaurant operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while training staff and working within budgeted guidelines.

What will I be doing?

As a Restaurant General Manager, you would be responsible for directing and administering the activities and services of a designated restaurant(s) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Direct and oversee all daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional food quality, service excellence, and guest satisfaction.
• Manage front-of-house and back-of-house teams to maintain smooth, efficient, and profitable operations.
• Recruit, hire, train, and mentor restaurant staff to build a high-performing team.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment that promotes professional growth and teamwork.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to develop talent.
• Develop and manage restaurant budgets, monitor key performance indicators, and implement cost-control measures for labor, food, and beverage.
• Drive revenue growth and maximize profitability without compromising quality.
• Uphold Forbes standards by ensuring superior guest experiences.
• Address guest feedback promptly and lead by example in service delivery.
• Create memorable dining experiences that reflect warmth and authenticity.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to execute local promotions, special events, and brand-enhancing strategies.
• Maintain brand integrity and build guest loyalty through innovative initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and liquor laws.
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce company policies and standards.

• Partner with the Executive Chef to support menu innovation, seasonal offerings, and quality enhancements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in restaurant or food & beverage management within a luxury or upscale dining environment.
• Proven track record of managing high-volume operations and delivering financial results.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate.
• Excellent financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Exceptional guest service orientation and ability to create personalized experiences.
• Proficiency in restaurant management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
