Job Title: Restaurant Manager – Fine Dining

Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: Operations Manager / General Manager

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a fine dining restaurant, ensuring the highest standards of service, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver a premium dining experience while managing staff, resources, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to fine dining standards.
  • Maintain exceptional guest relations by ensuring personalized, attentive, and professional service.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver consistent quality service.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain menu quality, presentation, and timely service.
  • Monitor reservations, table allocations, and special guest requests.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
  • Manage budgets, cost control, and inventory while maximizing revenue and profitability.
  • Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints promptly, and implement improvements.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, staff scheduling, and ongoing training sessions.
  • Implement service innovations to enhance the dining experience and maintain brand reputation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in F&B operations, with at least 2 years in a fine dining supervisory/managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of fine dining service standards, wine service, and menu pairing.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a composed, professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and MS Office applications.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
