Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers in selecting fitness equipment, and achieving sales targets. The role requires strong product knowledge, a proactive sales approach, and the ability to create a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Welcome customers to the store, understand their needs, and recommend suitable fitness equipment and accessories.
- Explain product features, benefits, and usage to customers.
- Actively engage with customers in the store to drive sales and increase product awareness.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
- Cross-sell and upsell related products to maximize revenue.
- Maintain product displays and ensure assigned areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and available inventory.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system.
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges professionally.
- Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
- Work closely with team members to ensure excellent customer service.
- Follow inventory control procedures and assist with stock management.
- Suggest ideas to improve sales such as promotional activities or store layout changes.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative, or similar role, preferably in fitness equipment or sports retail.
- Experience as a Personal Trainer is an advantage.
- Good understanding of sales techniques and customer service practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus.
- Basic math and computer skills (MS Office).
- Experience with POS systems; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Familiarity with inventory management procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle customer complaints professionally.
- Friendly, energetic personality with a strong customer service mindset.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required.
- High school diploma required; degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
- UAE Driving License is optional.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
