Job Summary

AIMS General Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced Roads Foreman to supervise and coordinate road construction activities on-site. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in roadworks, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily road construction activities including earthworks, subgrade, sub-base, asphalt works, and paving
• Allocate tasks to workers such as operators, drivers, and laborers
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Monitor site progress and report updates to the Site Engineer/Project Manager
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company HSE policies
• Coordinate with surveyors, QA/QC team, and other site staff
• Inspect materials and workmanship to maintain quality standards
• Manage equipment and ensure proper utilization on site

Requirements

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in road construction projects in the UAE or GCC
• Proven experience as a Roads Foreman or similar role
• Strong knowledge of roadworks (asphalt, kerbstone, interlock, drainage works)
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of HSE practices and site safety regulations
• Diploma or relevant technical qualification is an advantage
