Sales & Operations Assistant

Position Summary

The Sales & Operations Assistant supports the daily administrative and operational functions of the Sales and Accounting teams. This role ensures smooth front-office operations, provides customer assistance, and helps with reporting, documentation, and special projects across both departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional, welcoming, and customer-focused environment
  • Greet customers promptly and direct them to the appropriate team member
  • Answer inbound calls in a timely and courteous manner and route appropriately
  • Create and maintain organized and accurate filing systems (paper and electronic)
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage calendar events
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries
  • Assist the Sales team with documentation and administrative paperwork
  • Provide support to the Accounting team
  • Copy, file, and maintain business records
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Type a minimum of 40 words per minute with accuracy

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and verbal communication skills
  • Strong listening and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Accounting especially accounts payable and accounts receivable preferred
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor and ability to multitask

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (as needed)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $13.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on qualifications)
