Sales Engineer – Heat Exchanger

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for heat exchanger products across key industries (Oil & Gas, Power, Petrochemical, HVAC, etc.)
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, EPC contractors, and consultants
  • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals in line with client requirements
  • Provide product selection, sizing, and technical support to customers
  • Coordinate with internal engineering and manufacturing teams for customized solutions
  • Participate in tenders, bidding processes, and contract negotiations
  • Conduct site visits, client meetings, and technical presentations
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 3–8 years of experience in sales of heat exchangers or similar thermal equipment
  • Strong knowledge of heat exchanger types (Shell & Tube, Air-Cooled, etc.)
  • Experience working with EPC contractors and industrial clients in the Middle East
  • Familiarity with international standards (ASME, TEMA, API, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Valid driving license (preferred in Oman/GCC)

Preferred Skills:

  • Technical understanding of thermal calculations and selection software
  • Existing client network in Oman or GCC market
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RO700.000 - RO800.000 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ṣuḥār: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
