Sales Engineer-IT Infrastructure & Data Center Solutions

Job Purpose:

To lead and drive sales growth for Riz Technology’s IT infrastructure, networking, server, storage, and data center solutions by developing strategic sales plans, managing sales teams, and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales operations to achieve revenue targets for IT infrastructure and data center solutions.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies specific to networking, servers, and storage, virtualization, and data center services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with enterprise and government clients for data center projects.
  • Coordinate with pre-sales and technical teams to ensure solution alignment.
  • Review KPIs, forecasts, and sales performance reports.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field, MBA / MS Marketing preferred.
  • 5–7 years of sales experience, preferably in IT infrastructure, data center, or technology sector.

IT & Systems Exposure:

  • Strong understanding of data center solutions, IT services, cloud, and software platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Ability to interpret technical proposals, SLAs, and infrastructure service models. 

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

  • Networking: LAN/WAN, Switching, Routing, VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls, Wireless
  • Servers & Storage: Rack & Tower Servers, SAN, NAS, DAS, RAID, HCI
  • Virtualization & Backup: VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, Veeam, Commvault
  • Data Center: Racks, UPS, Cooling, Power Management, Redundancy
  • Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux (basic)
  • Vendors Links: Cisco, Huawei, HPE, Dell, Lenovo, Aruba, Fortinet, NetApp, Synology etc.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Salesforce Sales Management Certification
  • PMP or ITIL Foundation
  • Data Center Sales or Solution Certifications (e.g., Cisco, VMware, HPE)
