The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales function to achieve revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability. The role involves developing sales strategies, managing and coaching the sales team, driving key accounts, and ensuring consistent execution of sales processes aligned with company objectives and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement short- and long-term sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Set sales targets, budgets, and forecasts for teams and individuals.
  • Identify new market opportunities, segments, and revenue streams within Oman.

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and sales meetings.
  • Ensure clear role definitions, accountability, and adherence to sales KPIs

Business Development & Key Accounts

  • Personally manage key strategic accounts and high-value clients.
  • Support the team in complex negotiations, deal structuring, and closing.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.

Sales Operations & Process Control

  • Ensure effective use of CRM systems and accurate sales data reporting.
  • Monitor pipeline health, conversion ratios, and follow-up discipline.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Customer Support to ensure smooth execution from lead to closure and post-sales service.
  • Ensure pricing, discounts, and contracts comply with company policies and approvals.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and insights to management.
  • Recommend improvements to products, services, or pricing based on market feedback.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in the Omani market is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing field sales teams and key accounts.
