Sales Manager FMCG

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced and performance-driven Sales Manager (FMCG) to lead sales operations, expand distribution networks, and drive revenue growth across multiple cities. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in FMCG sales management, distributor handling, market expansion, and team leadership with flexibility to travel and relocate as required.

This role is ideal for professionals experienced in modern trade, general trade, and distribution channel management.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Market Development

• Develop and execute FMCG sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets
• Expand distribution channels and increase product availability in assigned territories
• Identify new markets, dealers, and business opportunities
• Ensure strong product visibility and market penetration

Distributor & Channel Management

• Manage distributors, wholesalers, and retail networks
• Monitor distributor performance, stock levels, and order planning
• Strengthen relationships with key accounts and trade partners
• Ensure effective coverage of GT (General Trade) & MT (Modern Trade)

Team Management

• Lead, train, and supervise the sales team and field staff
• Set KPIs and monitor sales performance
• Conduct regular market visits and performance evaluations

Sales Operations & Reporting

• Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends
• Ensure execution of trade promotions and sales campaigns
• Maintain accurate sales data and CRM reporting

Travel & Expansion

• Travel frequently to different cities for business development
• Support regional expansion and new territory setup

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
• MBA (Marketing/Sales) preferred
• 5–6 years FMCG sales experience (mandatory)
• Proven experience managing distributors and sales teams
• Willingness to travel and relocate nationwide

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
