About SalesRun CPQ

SalesRun CPQ is a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup revolutionizing how sales teams streamline the configure, price, and quote process and close deals. Our Sales Activity Suite (SAS) empowers SMBs and enterprises class sales teams to effortlessly create, disseminate, and finalize quotes, proposals, contracts, and orders while integrating data flows seamlessly with CRMs and ERPs.

We are now building a stronger presence in the US market and looking for a Sales & Marketing Assistant to support our US‑based co-founder, Joe.

Role Overview

As an early sales-focused hire in the US, you’ll sit right between sales and marketing and act as a founder’s right hand. You’ll work directly with Joe to prepare for customer meetings and roadshows, support trade shows, and create the follow-ups and materials that move deals forward. This is a high‑impact, hands‑on role where you’ll learn fast from a serial founder, help shape how SalesRun shows up in the US market, and grow into a strong go‑to‑market and positioning professional.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare Joe for meetings with prospects, customers and partners: account briefs, key questions, talk tracks and tailored materials for each call or demo.
  • Support roadshows and trade shows: research and shortlist relevant events, help with logistics and preparation, coordinate on‑site materials, and organize follow‑up with leads afterwards.
  • Create clear, structured follow‑up emails and documents after demos and meetings, summarizing what was discussed, next steps and what matters for the prospect.
  • Build and update sales materials: decks, one‑pagers, simple white papers and other documents that help Joe tell the product story and move deals forward.
  • Run lightweight competitive and market research to understand who we are compared to, what they say, and how we should position ourselves.
  • Act as a bridge between the marketing team (running channels like SEO and LinkedIn) and sales, making sure field insights from calls and events turn into useful content and assets.
  • Support light lead generation initiatives connected to Joe’s activities: help turn roadshows, trade shows and online sessions into follow‑up sequences, simple nurture flows and content (decks, one‑pagers, ebooks) that convert engaged prospects into qualified opportunities.
  • Who You Are
  • You have hands‑on experience working close to sales and/or marketing in a tech or IT‑driven company (for example, software, AI tools, IT services or digital products).
  • You are genuinely interested in technology: you are not afraid of concepts like AI, LLMs or cloud software and can quickly understand how a product works and why customers need it.
  • You write clear, sharp follow‑up emails and sales materials in English and enjoy turning messy call notes into structured, useful documents.
  • You have a strong bias for action: you see what needs to be done around meetings, roadshows and materials – and you just do it without waiting for step‑by‑step instructions.
  • You are motivated by ownership and responsibility, not by micromanagement or endless reporting.
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience in a B2B or SaaS environment is a plus, but not a strict requirement if you learn new products and markets quickly.

Why This Role Is Exciting

  • Work side‑by‑side with a founder: You’ll partner directly with Joe, a US‑based co‑founder and serial entrepreneur with previous exits and a strong track record in building and selling tech products. He is your main “client” and informal mentor, and you’ll see how he thinks about deals, messaging and strategy up close.
  • Real impact on revenue: Everything you do – from meeting prep and roadshow logistics to follow‑up documents and battlecards – immediately shows up in meeting quality, close rates and how prospects perceive SalesRun in the US market.
  • Fast learning curve in GTM & positioning: You’ll sit at the bridge between marketing and sales, turning live customer conversations into content, insights and materials that sharpen our story and go‑to‑market. This is a place to grow into a strong product marketing / sales enablement profile, not a “sit and make pretty graphics” role.
  • High autonomy and ownership: No micromanagement. You own the preparation and follow‑up around roadshows, trade shows and key deals, propose your own ideas and drive them to completion.
  • Strong upside via equity, plus team support: In addition to salary, you’ll receive an equity package with clear vesting, and you’ll work with a dedicated marketing team that supports core channels while you are the most active bridge between marketing and sales on the US side.
