- Meeting or Exceeding Sales Targets: The most critical duty is achieving the assigned sales quotas for specific products within their territory.
- Developing and Executing Sales Strategies: Creating and implementing effective plans to increase product awareness, prescribing rates, and market share.
- Persuasion and Negotiation: Liaising with and persuading targeted HCPs (doctors, pharmacists, nurses) to prescribe or stock the company's products using effective sales techniques and presenting cost-benefit analyses.

2. Relationship Management and Education
- Building and Maintaining Relationships: Establishing positive, trusting, and long-term working relationships with key HCPs, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and administrative staff in clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies.
- Product Detailing and Presentation: Conducting regular one-on-one visits and group presentations to educate HCPs on the company's products, including dosage, benefits, side effects, contraindications, and results from clinical trials and scientific data.
- Providing Information and Samples: Distributing scientific literature, product samples, and promotional materials in compliance with industry regulations.
- Addressing Queries: Acting as a subject-matter expert to answer questions and address concerns from medical staff about the products.

3. Market Analysis and Business Operations
- Territory Management: Planning and organizing daily work schedules, including travel routes and appointments, to maximize time spent with potential and existing clients.
- Monitoring Competitors and Market Conditions: Keeping up-to-date with new medical developments, competitor activities, market trends, and changes in the healthcare system (e.g., changes to drug formularies or reimbursement policies).
- Identifying Opportunities: Analyzing sales data and market intelligence to identify new customers and growth opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all customer contacts, sales activities, sample distribution, and submitting regular sales reports and forecasts to management using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.

- Adhering to Regulations: Ensuring all promotional activities and interactions with HCPs strictly comply with all local laws, regulatory guidelines, and company ethics and policies (e.g., those set by organizations like the FDA or local regulatory bodies).
- Continuous Learning: Actively pursuing continuous professional development, attending sales meetings, training sessions, and medical conferences to stay current with the latest clinical data, product knowledge, and industry advancements.
