Sales Support Account Specialist

A&B Valve is seeking a highly driven Account Specialist to join our Service team. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of their work and is motivated by continues improvement. This position works closely with the Accounting Supervisor and Operations Manager and is responsible for accounts receivable activities, reconciliations, and key components of the month-end close process.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Assist the sales team with managing existing accounts
• Prepare and process field tickets for assigned accounts, ensuring timeliness and compliance
• Support the month-end close process, including data preparation, meeting aggressive timelines with minimal supervision
• Process billings using correct customer "bill-to" and "ship-to" information
• Request purchase orders or credit card information as needed for processing
• Verify billing accuracy using hard copy purchase order from customers
• Assisting with outstanding approvals
• Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned

Qualifications Required

• Minimum of three years of billing and administrative experience
• Proficiency in OpenInvoice or similar AR systems
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with customer service and managing field tickets

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
