We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Team Leader who will be responsible for driving business development, generating project opportunities, and closing deals for the company.
Role Overview
The Sales Team Leader will lead the company’s business development efforts, focusing on identifying opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and consultants, and converting enquiries into awarded projects.
This role requires someone who understands project-based sales within the interior design, construction, or real estate sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities within corporate offices, residential villas, hospitality, and retail sectors
- Develop relationships with developers, consultants, architects, project managers, and corporate clients
- Proactively generate leads through networking, industry contacts, and market research
- Arrange and attend client meetings, presentations, and project discussions
2. Sales & Deal Closure
- Manage the entire sales process from enquiry to contract signing
- Present the company’s design and build capabilities to potential clients
- Work closely with internal teams to prepare competitive proposals and presentations
- Participate in commercial negotiations with clients
- Ensure the department focuses on closing deals and converting opportunities into projects
3. Sales Pipeline Management
- Maintain a structured sales pipeline of potential projects
- Track opportunities from initial enquiry through proposal, negotiation, and award stage
- Provide regular sales reports to management on potential revenue and project opportunities
- Ensure timely follow-up with clients and consultants
4. Proposal Coordination
- Coordinate with the Design Team and QS Department to prepare project proposals
- Ensure proposals are submitted within agreed timelines
- Review project scope, pricing strategy, and commercial positioning with management
5. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
- Represent RVI professionally during client meetings and industry events
- Maintain long-term relationships that lead to repeat projects and referrals
6. Market Development
- Identify emerging opportunities in Oman’s construction and development sector
- Monitor market trends within interior design, architecture, and real estate industries
- Recommend strategies to strengthen RVI’s market presence
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The Sales Team Leader will be evaluated based on:
- Number of qualified project opportunities generated
- Total value of projects in the sales pipeline
- Number of projects successfully awarded
- Total revenue generated for the company
- Quality of client relationships and strategic partnerships developed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in business development or sales
- Experience within interior design, construction, architecture, or real estate industries.
