SAP ABAP Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in SAP ABAP development and hands-on experience supporting and delivering SAP implementations, enhancements, and integrations across various SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP programs including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
• Develop and enhance ALV reports, SmartForms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms.
• Work on user exits, BAdIs, enhancements, and implicit/explicit modifications.
• Develop and support interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and web services.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform performance tuning and code optimization.
• Support end-to-end SAP implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.
• Prepare technical specifications and system documentation.
• Provide production support and resolve incidents in a timely manner.

Professional Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and consultancy.
• Strong expertise in classical and object-oriented ABAP (OO ABAP).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA ABAP developments, including CDS Views, AMDP, and enhancements.
• Hands-on experience with SAP integration technologies such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, and Web Services.
• Experience working across SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, HCM, etc.).
• Good understanding of SAP development standards and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel if required.
• Proficiency in Arabic (conversational) is required.
