SAP Functional Consultant – Loan Management (Three months contract-extendable)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Freelance SAP Functional Consultant specialising in SAP Loan Management / Loan Management System (LMS) to join our team on a project based contract. This role will focus on current system enhancements, process optimisation, and expanding current capabilities to meet evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

• Analyse current SAP Loan Management System setup and identify gaps
• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Design and implement new loan management processes within SAP
• Enhance existing LMS functionalities and configure relevant SAP modules (TRM, CML, etc.)
• Collaborate with technical teams on developments, integrations, and customisation
• Prepare functional specifications (FS) and support technical specifications (TS)
• Conduct system testing, UAT support, and resolve issues
• Ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance with business rules
• Deliver end‑user training and documentation
• Support go‑live activities and post‑implementation stabilisation

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience in SAP Loan Management / LMS configuration & implementation.
• Strong hands‑on SAP configuration and business process design expertise.
• Proven track record in implementing enhancements and new business processes.
• Solid understanding of financial products, loan life-cycle, and accounting impact.
• Ability to assess current SAP Loan Management System setup, identify gaps between business requirements and system capabilities, and design solutions to close those gaps.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

• Experience with SAP TRM (Treasury and Risk Management) or CML (Customer/Corporate Loans Management)
• Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (FI, CO, etc.)
• Experience in fast‑paced or transformation environment.
