Senior SAP Consultant – HR (HCM)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior SAP Consultant – HR (HCM) supports the Human Capital Management workstream in the SAP S/4HANA Transformation Program. The role is responsible for guiding HCM migration, consolidation, and implementation activities while collaborating with business stakeholders, system integrators, and technical teams.

The consultant will provide expert support in SAP HCM modules, ensure successful system integration with other enterprise applications, and help deliver improved HR business processes as part of the organization’s digital transformation initiative.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead HCM workstream activities for the SAP S/4HANA transformation including planning, design, testing, and deployment.

Provide functional expertise in SAP HCM implementation, configuration, and support.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to consolidate SAP landscapes into a unified S/4HANA environment.

Maintain integration between SAP HCM modules and other enterprise applications including SuccessFactors, Finance/Controlling (FI/CO), and Payroll systems.

Conduct fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, and solution design for HR processes.

Lead and coordinate testing cycles to ensure successful system implementation.

Develop and support data migration strategies for HR data.

Provide recommendations to leadership regarding HCM implementation strategies based on enterprise structure assessments.

Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular project updates to leadership teams.

Monitor risks and ensure mitigation strategies are implemented for HCM processes.

Support change management initiatives including user training and adoption programs.

Ensure compliance with project governance frameworks and quality management standards.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong expertise in SAP HCM modules and HR process management.

Ability to manage complex system integrations and SAP transformation projects.

Strong understanding of HR functional areas including Core HR, Payroll, Time Management, and Talent Management.

Ability to collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver enterprise solutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

POTENTIAL BACKGROUND

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or a related field.

Minimum 9+ years of professional experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on SAP HCM implementation or support.

Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA landscapes.

Experience participating in at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation project.

Experience working with HR business process design, configuration, gap analysis, testing, and training.

Pay: QAR8,000.00 - QAR16,000.00 per month
